That was an exciting time!! Winning a Vogue Produce Awards Gold Medal .... Australia's most prestigious produce award at the time. The amazing thing was that our humble sweet corn was awarded a gold medal in the company of many iconic food brands from all over Australia .... all sorts of amazing foodie treats including yoghurts, cheeses and (wait for it) ..... even chocolates.

The Vogue Entertaining and Travel Produce Awards have now been renamed as the Delicious Produce Awards, but unfortunately our season for the vegies we grow now doesn't match up with the judging times so we haven't entered since 2010.

Rob and Trude travelled to Sydney for the special awards ceremony, which was amazing in itself - with TV Personality, Food Journalist and Restaurant Critic, Matt Preston of Masterchef Australia fame as the host for the evening. It was held in a gorgeous Restaurant in the Intercontinental Hotel in Sydney.
